MULTI JET DRY TYPE WATER METER
The multi jet water meters type LXS are designed to measure, memorise and display the volume at metering conditions of water passing through the measurement transducer in the sense of the Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council no. 2004/22/EC of measuring instruments, as amended.
The water meters type LXS are multi jet rotary vane wheel water meters with semi dry mechanical indicating device with protected registered drums.
The water meters type LXS consist of a brass body with connecting screw threads, an inlet strainer and adjusting screw, a rubber gasket, a wet measuring unit with a plastic distributor with tangential holes, a rotary vane wheel and gears, stainless steel shaft, rubber O-ring, a mechanical indicating device with pointers and numbered drums, a glass and a brass head ring with a plastic cover. The mechanical indicating device is formed by numbered rollers with five drums and four pointers. The numbered drums are installed in capsule filled by special liquid. The adjustment is realized by adjusting screw. The access to the adjusting screw is protected by sealed screw.
DEFINITION:
Set of moving device that fitted into a closed conduit driven directly by water flow. Its turbine rotor rotates about the axis which is perpendicular to water flow.
WORKING PRINCIPLES:
Water flow drives vane rotate. Rotating times which is proportional to water flow speed are gathered, hence total volume passed through water meter is recorded.
CHARACTERS:
For hot water.
Type C is designed according to China uniform drawing in 1980s. Eight figure counter. Low start flow and high safety.
Type E is improvement based on type C. Counter with both clock hands and numerical rolls for easy reading. High measuring accuracy.
Meter body made of either brass or cast iron.

From the minimum flow-rate (qmin) inclusive to the lower zone of the transitionalflow-rate (qt) exclusive: ±5% .
From the transitional flow-rate (qt) inclusive to the higher zone of the maximum flow-rate (qmax) exclusive: ±2%(hot water meter±3%.)
